More Information:

This award-winning documentary focuses on Georgia, a four-year-old with Autism in her special education class. Observed are her struggles and triumphs in her classroom world as well as her progress within a six-month period.

This groundbreaking documentary, premiered at the White House Conference on Children (1970), shows the value of an early educational start, and identifies the need for research. Clearly presented are the characteristic behaviors of this syndrome as well as the gains such a child can make in a therapeutic nursery setting.
